THE WORK OF MORETTO EXHIBITED BY THE "WOLAND ART CLUB" AT "SUMMER ART 2016" OF PORTOPICCOLO.

 

 

From the 15th of July until the 31st of August the work of Luca Moretto will be exhibited by the prestigious Woland Art Club at the new exhibition space SUMMER ART 2016 a Portopiccolo Sistiana (Trieste / Italy). An absolute must-see is the “Bugatti B35 Color Drops© – Black Edition”, a unique piece of art created in partnership with Saratoga Spa Sforza, a leader in silicon production.

Always experimenting, the Venetian artist creates the First Bugatti B35 from a toy car. "That is how the “Color Drops© White Edition” saw life with the collaboration of Saratoga" says Moretto "and from here the Color Drops theme originated, a theme that will persist in my future paintings and sculptures."

The poetic approach of Moretto creates a fresh flow of emotions. Starting from the desire to evolve and to research new volumes, he shapes the silicone in a pop art fashion with a passion for colors, creating shapes that are never two-dimensional. Even Francesco Sforza (A.D. di Saratoga) and Mauro Leoni (A.D. di Mungo Italia), who like everyone were accustomed to think of silicon as something uniquely functional, were surprised to see it become a true form of art. The works of Moretto brings on an intense flow of energy that turns on a sensory craving. The artist encourages the desire of the viewer to touch and caress his creations.

Two other masterpieces of the collection are the sculptural pieces “Cork Color Rain© – Blu Sussurro” a collaboration with Staygreen Venezia and Roberto Pamio+Partners, and “Radici Silicoavventizie” (adventitious roots in silicone). The latter is an evolution of the “adventitious roots” first exposed in the massive installation of the Fuorisalone 2011. It is really hard to resist the temptation to touch those suspended radicles.
